In 2025, the Nerdrum Museum association will begin designing the second floor of the historic pipe house at Agnes in order to open the entire building to the general public.
The goal is to create a vibrant and independent cultural institution over two floors of international format that both the local community and Norway can be proud of. For the restoration of the pipe house, the association organizes volunteer work, fundraising, cooperation agreements, and obtaining external funds from both private and public cultural actors.
The association wants everyone who wants to have the opportunity to be part of the project, and to leave their mark on the Norwegian cultural history that is now being written. All private individuals who contribute with a donation of over 500 kroner will have their name on a sign that will be unveiled at the opening of the completed museum. Contributors will also receive a personal invitation to private events beyond the years 2025 and 2026.
